Set up your KithFlow account and run your first targeting rule.

Getting Started

This guide takes you from a fresh account to your first enriched UK prospect list in under 10 minutes.

1. Create Your Account

Go to app.kithflow.com and sign up with your email address.

After verifying your email, you will be prompted to create your first Organisation. An organisation is your workspace — it holds all your contacts, targeting rules, and battlecards.

2. Generate Your API Key

If you plan to use the MCP server or build integrations, generate an API key now.

  1. Go to Settings → API Keys
  2. Click Create Key
  3. Give it a name (e.g. claude-agent) and copy the key — it is only shown once

The API key authenticates your organisation to the MCP server and any direct API calls.

3. Create Your First Targeting Rule

The Intent Engine is the heart of KithFlow. A targeting rule defines:

  • Keywords — what kind of business to find (e.g. IT support, digital agency)
  • Location — UK city, region, or postcode area
  • Data sources — Companies House, plus enrichment providers
  • Max prospects per run — how many new prospects to add each cycle (1–100)

To create a rule:

  1. Go to Intent Engine in the left nav
  2. Click Create Rule
  3. Fill in your keywords and location
  4. Choose a run cadence: Every 6 hours, Daily, or Weekly
  5. Click Save — the rule is now active

Run it manually:

After saving, click Run Now to trigger an immediate run. Check back in a few minutes — new prospects will appear in your Prospects page with enriched profiles pre-generated.

4. Review and Enrich Your Prospects

Once you have prospects:

  1. Go to Prospects
  2. Click into a prospect to review its Companies House record and enriched data
  3. Save the best fits to your Contacts pool and generate a battlecard
  4. Pull the same data programmatically via the MCP / API
